The new management at DC Films has taken the shape of one of the biggest backlash-ridden decisions in cinema history. From scrapping an entire franchise from the face of the planet to canceling upcoming films and characters like Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman and Henry Cavill’s Superman in one fell swoop, James Gunn and Peter Safran went to the extreme to start everything from scratch.
And with the decision taken by new DC Films to remove Henry Cavill as Superman from the upcoming DCU, it was also unclear whether we will see the return of Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman again. But with the recent development at the DC’s merch side of things, it seems like the return of the Princess of Themyscira.
The Flash Merch Might’ve Spoiled The Return Of Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman
While the news of DC Films ditching Henry Cavill, who was hailed as one of the best Superman in the industry was upsetting, it was only multiplied when CEO James Gunn announced the cancelation of all the other DCEU films after the upcoming The Flash. Thus, fans were disheartened and were oblivious to whether the studio would bring them back in the future. But it seems like the franchise might’ve unintentionally disclosed the secret.
