Fortunately, Jennifer Aniston only had to work with the now-disgraced producer once. And to nobody’s surprise, it wasn’t at all a pleasant experience. For many years, Harvey Weinstein has been making headlines due to his troubling behavior and is now also a convict for the said actions. He deeply offended the Friends actress by behaving in a profoundly inhumane way while they both were working together in a movie called, Derailed. Despite the fact that the 2005 movie was a flop, it did succeed in taking off the mask Weinstein wore in front of the public, for the actress. Thus, Aniston has since then made it her mission to bring about the much-needed change in the industry.

Jennifer Aniston was disgusted by Harvey Weinstein

The very talented actress, Jennifer Aniston reflected on the time she realized what a monster Harvey Weinstein was in an interview with Variety while she was promoting her Apple TV series, The Morning Show. She only had the opportunity to work with the now-disgraced filmmaker once, and it was awful, she claimed that he was full of himself and did not bother to respect anyone around him. Aniston recalled the premier night of the 2005 film, Derailed, was the night she saw the true colors of the now-convicted offender. She narrated,

“I had to. There was the premiere dinner. I remember I was sitting at the dinner table with Clive, and our producers and a friend of mine was sitting with me. And he literally came to the table and said to my friend: “Get up!” And I was like, “Oh my gosh.” And so my friend got up and moved and Harvey sat down. It was just such a level of gross entitlement and piggish behavior.”

Since then, the We’re The Millers actress’ team has also come forward and falsified the claim made stating,

“Jennifer has not been harassed or assaulted by Harvey.”

That wasn’t the only grueling fact that got leaked from some of the unreleased court documents. From begging for help from the billionaire Jeff Bezos to an extensively complied “red-list” compiling the names of actors sent to a private detection by Weinstein in hopes to capture the culprit responsible for his much-deserved downfall, some pretty wild stories have come forward. All in all, Jennifer Aniston did not let these interactions have a negative impact on her, rather she came out stronger and is now a vocal advocate of women’s empowerment.
