He has already gone to the gym and finished his second breakfast of the day, while you were probably dreaming about your fifth dream.

Well, we are in complete disbelief at his ability to maintain his amazing level of fitness and sculpted physique despite countless setbacks and injuries throughout his career. Even though he is in his 50s, the Uncharted alum is unafraid of making a point of staying in shape. This is frequently seen in the Transformers star’s training videos posted on social media.

Earlier this month, the father of four once again proved his dedication to fitness by uploading a video while working out despite an injury. He could be seen performing squats, leg presses, and other exercises.

Mark Wahlberg’s Appreciable Determination Despite Injuries

You are probably aware that the majority of Mark Wahlberg‘s Instagram posts feature him training and working out, which is how his toned body came to be. Even though it has to do with his rigorous workout regimen, this particular post (from earlier this month) revealed something different.

In an Instagram post, the actor-turned-fitness enthusiast, who relocated to Las Vegas with his family this year from Hollywood, was seen pushing himself physically during a workout. He could be heard claiming to have a “torn meniscus and broken bones in the hand” in the post with the caption, “Work thru but train smart”. He went on, saying,

Got to work through it, but very ginger with it today. Just getting that movement back. We got to work, got to work.

His Fitness Tips He ‘Wishes’ He Would Have Heard ‘20 Years Ago’

Fitness-focused actor Mark Wahlberg, who is also F45 Training’s Chief Brand Officer, is well-known for his 4 a.m. workouts. He spoke with PEOPLE in April about how his gym regimen has changed over time, from his teenage years as a Calvin Klein model to the present as a father of four.

Unlike us, fitness enthusiasts are drawn to his rigorous training schedule, but the motivation behind his increasingly intense workouts has evolved. The actor told PEOPLE:

“I need to stay in my lane and know that I don’t have to try to out-lift everybody or outwork everybody. I just have to push myself a little bit more and continue to just try to drag this beautiful life out as long as I can.”

With this new approach to his workout regimen, the actor claimed he is “getting more results”. He also shared the “smart advice” he now follows during each sweat session.

“I target muscle groups. I don’t have to lift as heavy, but I have to have better form, a longer hold and a longer squeeze … I just wish I would’ve listened to the people who were trying to tell me these things and give me this kind of advice 20 years ago.”

And Wahlberg’s workouts differ from his earlier gym sessions because of this new perspective.

“I think because I’m training smarter, I’m getting the rest that I need. I’ll go three days on, one day off.”

The Oscar-nominated actor is known for his buff physique, which he flexed in 2013’s Pain & Gain, and for stripping down in 2022’s Me Time. He has also been buffed up for roles in movies like Shooter, The Fighter, and Lone Survivor.
