The leaked casting call from Ubisoft dives greatly into characters that will be a part of the upcoming tactical military game.

The squad will apparently consist of several characters, including Raphael, a veteran soldier in his mid-30s to late 40s, joined by Ringo, an Indonesian-American or Asian-American, a haunted soldier with a mysterious past, and Spengler, aged 30-40, a Japanese-American or South American, a forensic specialist.

Then Uhura, aged 30-40, is an American-North African or Middle-Eastern sniper in the team, followed by Ahn, who is somewhere between mid-20s to mid-30s and is of Thai origin. Her role is not of military importance but more on the social side, as she is a part of a multinational NGO and an advocate for those in need. The leak suggests the character is fluent in Thai.

Another important character is Kya-Win, a male Thai or Thai American in the 40s or 50s, a former head of the National Secret Police turned rogue operator.

The leak sent fans into a frenzy, as theories about this being a new Ghost Recon or a tactical Rainbow Six game are overflowing on social media.

The company is known for making great games but they also had many misses. For that, the fans are right to be concerned about the future of the popular tactical shooter franchise.

However, with the new leak, possibilities are endless, whether it is a new Rainbow Six game, a new IP, or a return to the roots.

Nevertheless, one theory that holds water is that the leaked project could be the next installment in Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon series.

However, some fans are cautious as the studio has become known for canceling numerous projects and games, and fans are more interested in Division 3, Splinter Cell, and other games from the publisher.

Another fan shared his doubts about the success of the game, considering past monetization practices by the popular studio.

Despite fans’ concerns, the leaked information points directly at the Ghost Recon series resurgence. The leaked character details match the hallmarks of past titles in the series and when you add tactics to it, that is an undisputed return to form.

Breakpoint continued the open-world approach seen for the first time in Wildlands and players weren’t very thrilled. The leak revealed characters, setting, and premise, which all suggest a huge chance for the new tactical game to be a massive win for the franchise as it returns to its classic tactical shooter roots.
