Since making his debut in The Amazing Spider-Man #14 in 1964, the Green Goblin has terrorized both Spider-Man and his admirers. The character, created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko, has since become ingrained in popular culture and starred in multiple different Spider-Man film adaptations.
The world has been granted a glimpse into the possible madness that could ensue with Giancarlo Esposito playing such a role by the digital artist known on Reddit as ImaginativeHobbyist. For the uninitiated, the actor gained recognition for his roles in Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul. More recently, he played Moff Gideon in The Mandalorian, solidifying his reputation as the go-to guy for a villainous part.
This amazing fan art features Esposito as Spider-Man’s long-standing antagonist, Green Goblin, who is thought to be the superhero’s most frequent opponent. Several characters have taken on the role in the canon of comic books, but Goblin has been by far the most dangerous.

Better Caul Saul Star Would Like To Take On This Role In The MCU
It has been suggested that Giancarlo Esposito, who has starred in popular shows like Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, The Boys, and The Mandalorian, could play two of the most significant roles in the X-Men franchise: Professor Charles Xavier and Magneto.
During an appearance on The Tonight Show, Esposito expressed interest in both parts but admitted that having portrayed so many villains already, he slightly preferred the more heroic part. He told host Jimmy Fallon.
“I want to play a good guy. Charles is smart. He’s good. But I feel as if there may be some mileage with me and Marvel. I know I love what they do. I know I love creativity. So who knows what could happen? Keep putting it out there.”
James McAvoy and Patrick Stewart have both played Professor X in the past; the latter’s portrayal of the character can be seen in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Though no X-Men films have been officially announced by Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige, plans have been set for the future.
