Better Call Saul has been nominated for the Best TV Drama series Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Drama Series a number of times. Bob Odenkirk himself was nominated five times for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series. But were snubbed each time. This year finally the efforts of the Nobody actor were rewarded with the award at the Critics Choice Awards.

Odenkirk’s fans were delighted by the very achievement of both the actor and the series. Soon after his win, the internet was filled with praise for Bob Odenkirk’s hard work and consistency, which certainly is true. Many fans argued that this achievement should have come long back to the series but several other non-deserving candidates continued to win, neglecting the true worth of both series and the Better Call Saul star.

Better Call Saul series is a prequel to the series Breaking Bad which is an American crime and legal drama. The series is unanimously supported by critics. Set in the early 2000s in New Mexico follows the transformation journey of lawyer and former con artist, Jimmy McGill into an egocentric criminal defense attorney known as Saul Goodman. The story continues to win the hearts of both fans and critics.
