It has been well over a year since we received God of War Ragnarök, and to this day, gamers are still playing and loving the game. After the recent Valhalla update, gamers have been brought back to God of War Ragnarök, and they have been reminded of what a wonderful game it is. For one gamer, it is too good.
Whether you have been playing since the first game all those years ago or just made our entrance into the franchise from the 2018 God of War game, you will know how fantastically awesome the franchise is and how it constantly delivers on some of the best scenes. Thanks to this one Reddit user, gamers have now been taken through memory lane as they all share why they loved the game so much.

After the recent Valhalla update, gamers have been making their return to God of War, even if it is for a small amount of time to complete the DLC. But for some players, this is the perfect opportunity to finally play that new game + that they have been putting off for so long.
One player who has taken this opportunity is Reddit user Tall_Nothing5194, as they have shared a few screenshots from the game that show some of their favorite moments. Looking through these images does tend to bring you down memory lane if you have played the game, as some of the images included are some of the most cinematic moments in the game that had every gamer punching the air in joy.
Some of these moments include when Kratos is going toe-to-toe with Thor as lighting and storms swirl around, causing mayhem in the fight, or one of my personal favorites is when Kratos and Atreus are fighting the two Valkyries, and the encounter turns into a quick time event, leading to probably one of the most cinematic quick time events ever, and ending with one of the best images of Kratos and Atreus essentially back to back, while Atreus is a damn bear.
These are only some of the amazing moments that take place within God of War Ragnarök, as there aren’t just major fights that cause shock waves. There are some really down-to-earth moments that would make even the strongest-willed players shed a tear, as we see some of our favorite characters lose something so dear to them.
Will the Next Game in the Franchise Keep up With the Shocking Moments That Took Place in God of War Ragnarök?
At the moment, there is currently another God of War game being planned at Santa Monica, but a large number of gamers are worried that it won’t be able to keep up with the shocking revelations and moments that took place within God of War Ragnarök.
Whether it is the death of Brok or the shocking truth that Tyr was actually Odin, there were plenty of moments in God of War Ragnarök that had players jaws on the floor, and with a new game in the works, players are hoping that the development team can keep up the pace with the work it has already done and ensure that we keep getting explosive moments like this.
Since we do not know where the next game will be set or who will even be the main characters, we do not know what direction the franchise could head in. There are talks that we could continue with Kratos and tell a whole new story in another region of the world, or we could take control of Atreus for some time on his journey.
Either way, gamers are already eager to get their hands on more God of War content and would happily take either character’s story one step further if it meant being able to enjoy a story that Santa Monica has created.
