Eiichiro Oda’s One Piece anime has once again taken the top spot with the release of episode 1114, which features the strength reveal of the fan-favorite Monkey D. Garp. The episode has given One Piece fans a glimpse of what Garp’s power looks like when he uses one of his attacks called Galaxy Impact on Hachinosu Island.
Although Garp has only used a single attack as of yet, it has caused destruction and devastation to an immeasurable level. This has prompted One Piece fans to think about how powerful Garp would have been during his prime. Garp’s endeavors from the past are one of the reasons why he is so respected in the Navy.
One of his most popular battles is the God Valley Incident, where he took down the Rocks Pirates along with the help of Gol D. Roger. Thus, if Eiichiro Oda ever plans to reveal the entire battle of the God Valley incident, the narrative is going to break multiple records, including the one set by the Marineford arc as the best storyline in the history of One Piece.
Monkey D. Garp Shows Why He is Called “Garp The Fist”
One Piece anime episode 1114 has not only shocked the entire fandom, but it has also taken its place as one of the highest-rated episodes of all time. The episode starts with members of SWORD and the Navy trying to save Koby and the other prisoners from imprisonment at Hachinosu Island when Garp decides to take his ship in the sky and land in the center of the island.
But before he does that, he tries to clear out some space for his ship with the help of his attack called Galaxy Impact, which almost levels the entire island. However, the Vice Admiral is not at all satisfied with the impact of his attack and claims that his old age has made him weaker, making his character look even more cool.
While he talks with Koby and the rest of the Marines, an old apprentice of Garp enters the scene. This apprentice is none other than Aokiji Kuzan, the newest commander of the Blackbeard Pirates. As Kuzan talks to Koby, Garp is seen being disappointed with Kuzan’s actions, which marks the conclusion of the episode but the beginning of one of the most epic fights in One Piece.
One Piece Fans Are Not Ready for the God Valley Incident To Be Animated
Garp’s devastation of Hachinosu Island with just one punch has hyped One Piece fans for the upcoming battle between him and the Blackbeard Pirates. The battle has already grabbed its place as one of the most iconic moments in the manga, and it will surely do the same with the anime series as well.
However, as of right now, One Piece fans are more excited to see Garp in his prime, and they are hoping Eiichiro Oda soon creates the complete God Valley Incident, which features one of the biggest battles in history.
Thus, when the One Piece episode came out, fans took to Reddit to express their appreciation for Toei Animation and their anticipation for the God Valley Incident.

While Oda recreating God Valley is uncertain, the one thing that is certain is that One Piece fans will get to see Garp battling it out with his former apprentice and the rest of the Blackbeard Pirates. But fans might have to wait for it a little bit as episode 1115 will focus on Aokiji’s past and how he met the Blackbeard Pirates in the first place.
