Dragon Ball Super is famous for the breathtaking powers and forms it has gifted to its fan-favorite characters. Out of all the super forms male protagonist Goku has achieved, his massively commendable Ultra Instinct form still ranks as the best power he has unlocked to date, next to only his magnificent Super Saiyan Blue form.
However, although it is already incredibly powerful, it seems that even his Ultra Instinct powers can be upgraded to a whole new level. And the key to attaining this upgrade might be through a pre-existing technique that Goku already possesses: the Kaio-ken technique.
Goku Could Upgrade Ultra Instinct With Kaio-ken Technique
Fans were truly delighted when Dragon Ball Super saw Goku attaining the super-powerful Ultra Instinct form after having trained with an angel from the Dragon Ball universe. So it will come as an even better delight that even that super-powerful move can be upgraded.
As previously seen in the anime, the fan-favorite hero has already learned to magnify the power along with the speed of his Super Saiyan Blue tenfold using the Kaio-ken technique, the result of which was truly epic.
However, Kaio-ken isn’t only useful for magnifying his Super Saiyan Blue powers, but they can also be coupled with The Ultimate Defender’s latest power-up, i.e. the Ultra Instinct, but only if he gets strong enough to use and control it without dying.
Moreover, as seen in the final moments of Death Battle!‘s third Goku VS Superman animation, The Earth Saiyan’s Perfected Ultra Instinct Kamehameha move boosted with Kaio-ken was powerful enough to shatter the ground beneath him.
Considering the massively formidable effects the Ultra Instinct could result in after being used with the Kaio-ken technique under a properly controlled manner, this dramatic power-up would prove to be the perfect move to entertain fans with in the future Dragon Ball Super arcs.

Kaio-ken Mixed With Ultra Instinct Can Also Be Deadly
While this new power-up of the Ultra Instinct could act as the ultimate powerful move for Goku in Dragon Ball Super, there are also some serious potential dangers attached to mixing the two powers, if not learned how to master them perfectly.
First of all, the Perfected Ultra Instinct is incredibly challenging as its user needs to have complete control of his emotions while using it. Since that is not easy for the warrior race to master, it could end up inflicting great stress and prove to be harmful to the user in case it gets overused.
Furthermore, even though the Kaio-ken technique has shown that is more than just useful judging from how many tough situations it has gotten the Super Saiyan out of, it is yet to be coupled with the Ultra Instinct power-up, and thus, the dangers from the combination are yet to be explored.
Nonetheless, if Goku indeed succeeds in mastering his Ultra Instinct form and then further masters it with the risky Kaio-ken to perfection, not only would the combination result in magnifying his Ultra Instinct to a tremendous extent but would also make the Legendary Super Saiyan the strongest fighter in the Dragon Ball franchise.
