Son Goku might be the most iconic protagonist of all time, and fans believe that Akira Toriyama’s Dragon Ball features the strongest character to be ever featured in any manga or anime. However, this remains an extremely debatable topic if he is the strongest character ever because each time when one thinks that the character has reached the pinnacle of strength, he will shatter his limits and become better than his former self.
Intriguingly, this has led to the popular meme called ‘ But can he beat Goku?’, where the fans of the series use it to show off the character’s strength. However, it looks like Kakarot has a new opponent, as fans argue on social media if Ben Tennyson, the wearer of the most powerful weapon in the universe, can take on the Saiyan in a fight.
Fans Argue How Ben Tennyson’s Alien X Would Defeat Goku Without Breaking a Sweat
One of the key aspects of Dragon Ball is how it teaches us to break past our limits and always be better than our former selves, and Akira Toriyama showcased it very well with the character sketch of Son Goku. Throughout the series, fans have witnessed how he has received a new transformation, increasing his power, but that did not come easy as he has undergone intense training, tough battles, a series of injuries, or so much more, that made him stronger than when he started.
This puts the Saiyan in a league of his own. However, there are some fans who believe that Ben Tennyson from the popular animated show Ben 10 can easily take down Kakarot. To support their argument, they came up with theories, that looked to be quite convincing at first sight, but once a deeper analysis was done it looked to be immensely flawed and made their argument to be simply baseless.
Recently, a fan (@rekzz17) made a post on X, asking fans of both series who would win in a fight – Kakarot or Ben 10. A fan of Ben 10 answered how Tennyson would take the win home easily if he transformed into Alien X.
The point was quite strong because Alien X is the strongest alien form, who can easily warp time, space, and matter with his abilities.

While it is true that Alien X can defeat its enemies with ease, making it one of the most powerful entities of the Ben 10 universe.
However, the character’s major flaws lie in the fact that it is controlled by three different entities, that is Serena, Bellicus, and Tennyson, who possess different personality traits, often leading to internal debate, making him vulnerable and indecisive in key moments.
It is heavily important because when your foe is Son Goku, you can not leave yourself unguarded even for a minute second.

Moreover, a fan shared how they believed Alien X would have easily soloed the protagonist in a fight until they realized that the internal struggle of the character is what makes him a bad pick for the fight. As a result, despite possessing God-like powers, Alien X was defeated by Four Arms and Bloxx. Hence, the character might be stronger than the Z fighter but not the winner in a fight.
Fans Believe Omnitrix’s Capture Mode Would Help Ben Tennyson To Defeat Goku
In the same post, a fan mentions how Tennyson would easily defeat Kakarot if he used Omnitrix’s Capture Mode, which allows him to transform its wearer into the species for a limited time. It is a great debate because the Z Fighter going against himself would indeed result in a tough competition, and it would be quite difficult to predict the outcome of the battle.

However, the same fans have forgotten about the Goku Black Arc of Dragon Ball Super, where Zamasu had stolen Kakarot’s body, but even with the same body and powers, he could not defeat the original as the Saiyan Warrior possess an immaculate amount of Battle IQ, and the never give up ability would make him a clear winner.
Turning into Goku won't help. Goku made it very clear even if you stole his body or made a false version Ben lacks ki knowledge so he would know how to use any of the techniques. No muscle memory or familiarity on the body's patterns

This was even pointed out by a fan, who found the flaw in the theory stating that the original would be a better version than the copied version. While fans believe that the Saiyan God is the stronger character, that does not change the fact that Ben Tennyson is an equally intriguing character and the strongest in his own universe.
