Marvel Rivals is an upcoming online multiplayer game featuring iconic superheroes and villains of the Marvel brand. The game developers hosted a closed beta test for a handful of players to gain more feedback, suggestions, and ideas on how to improve the game. Unfortunately, all great things must come to an end.
The game developers have seemingly gathered everything they need to make the necessary improvements before the official release sometime next year and have bid farewell to the closed beta phase. The lucky few players had the experience of a lifetime and are having trouble saying goodbye.
The Gaming Community Laments the End of Marvel Rivals’ Closed Beta
It is a new age for Marvel Games after the gaming department of the beloved superhero brand has finally found its footing. Fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe were pleased to discover that Steve Rogers’ Captain America will be joining the roster in Marvel Rivals and is sporting an original suit inspired by other iterations.
The gaming community had the time of their lives playing the closed beta and shed new light on issues plaguing the game like massive gaps between balancing and scaling. An ordinary anti-hero like the Punisher is way too overpowered and is in dire need of being nerfed and this is one of the many problems found in the short-lived closed beta.

Some fans have not yet reached the denial stage and are already missing the game after the closed beta ended a few moments ago.
Best Beta Experience

Despite all the flaws, some players are bold enough to claim this as the best beta experience for an upcoming live service game.
God, it's been SO damn fun to play, I'm not ready. Send me back

The beta is nowhere near perfect; however, it was playable enough to give the lucky few players a great experience. If this is the initial feedback of an earlier version, there is no telling what the final product will look like.
For the first time in a long time I played a 6v6 shooter and it was honestly the best time gaming I had in a while… n now it's gone๐๐๐

Online multiplayer games are not for the faint of heart, and there are only a few good games out there. It is safe to say that Marvel Rivals will be welcomed with open arms when it officially launches on different gaming platforms.
The closed beta certainly made an impression on the gaming community. Perhaps more players will be encouraged to play for a few hours on release day.
NetEase Games Has Struck Gold With the Closed Beta of Marvel Rivals
Hopefully, the developers will have enough time to fix certain balancing and scaling issues found in the beta. It would be a shame to lose all the positive feedback and goodwill from the fans if the same problems persist in the final version.
The game was built with a solid foundation and the developers at NetEase Games understand what is at stake. Their previous experiences with online multiplayer games gave them everything they required to work on this project.
Closed beta tests are meant to be a trial run, and it is safe to say that this closed beta passed with flying colors and exceeded expectations. Perhaps the wait for the official version will be worth it.
Nothing lasts forever and it is best to reminisce about the good times. It is worth noting that the game will return to a better state in the following year.
