Since its premiere on November 12, 2019, The Mandalorian has taken Star Wars fans and casual TV watchers by storm. Most of this credit is due to the internet phenomenon “Baby Yoda,” who we now know as the beloved Grogu. Chances are even if you haven’t seen the show, you’ve seen “The Child’s” face somewhere, whether that be on a lunchbox or a tshirt, and you would also have to admit that he is pretty cute. With that being said, here are Grogu’s top five cutest moments.
5. Grogu Eats Eggs: The Mandalorian Szn 1 Ep. 10
In the final episode of the first season of The Mandalorian, Mando is tasked with bringing the Frog Lady back to her home planet. The reason the mission is urgent is because the Frog Lady is in possession of her eggs, which can only be hatched in the environment of her home. Mando accepts the mission, but they soon find themselves crash landed on a frozen planet. While gathering himself, Mando looks up to see Grogu eating the eggs, excitedly.
4. Cookie Stealer: The Mandalorian Szn 2 Ep. 4
In season two episode four of The Mandalorian, we see Grogu attending school while Mando is out taking care of business. Grogu looks to his left to see one of his classmates eating a delicious stack of blue cookies. The kid takes notice of Grogu’s liking to the cookies and whispers the word “no.” As we all know though, a simple no isnt going to stop this little guy. When the kid turns to pay attention to something else in the class, Grogu uses the force to steal the cookies, and he wastes no time diving in.
3. “This Is The Last Time”: Book of Boba Fett Szn 1 Ep.7
In the Book of Boba Fett, Grogu is given the choice to choose Master Yoda’s lightsaber and continue training as a jedi, or to take the armor the Mandalorian had brought for him, and return to Mando forever. Grogu chooses Mando and the unlikely duo are paired together again at last. The last time we see the two together in the series Mando is flying his new N1 starship with Grogu in the droid pod. Grogu then begins tapping on the glass, Mando utters “no” multiple times before finally giving in and taking the ship on one last joyride through the galaxy.
2. Pushing Buttons: The Mandalorian Szn 1 Ep.4
In chapter four of The Mandalorian we see Mando and Grogu flying through the galaxy in the Razor Crest, somewhat peacefully. Grogu then begins to touch buttons on the ship’s dashboard causing the entire ship to shake. Mando tells him to stop but to no avail, as this cycle goes on for a few times. Mando eventually grabs Grogu and just as we think he’s going to put him back into his pod, he sits him down on his lap, finishing off one of the cutest scenes with a gushing father-son moment.
1. Anytime He Uses The Force
Coming in at number one on the list of Grogu’s cutest moments, is undeniably any time that he uses the force. From the squinted eyes, to his tiny hand reaching out, it’s hard not to gush looking at the little guy go. Pair this with the fact that he usually only uses the force to help others, and this may just be Grogu’s cutest feat.
