GTA 6 is set to be released sometime around the fall of next year and the gaming community has high expectations. Previous installments featured massive improvements from older titles and some fans expect to see a much larger leap given the long development period for this highly-anticipated sequel.
Earlier titles have given the gaming community an insane amount of freedom to do whatever they please and commit any felony, some hardcore fans are goading the game developers to go all out with this ambitious sequel. Perhaps this year’s entry will give the fans the full experience of living without fear.
The Gaming Community Wants to Rob Banks in GTA 6 Without Ties to the Narrative
The Grand Theft Auto franchise has been a staple in the gaming industry and is among the greatest video game franchises. The gaming community has been waiting for the next major installment for the past decade and those days are nearly numbered with a next-generation experience made by the best in the industry.
It honestly blows my mind on how being able to rob banks in free roam hasn’t been made a feature yet. So here’s hoping GTA VI will have that.

Some players are baffled by the lack of bank robberies and heist planning outside the story mode. Previous installments made a big deal of robbing banks as the livelihood of the main protagonists and made players handle the setup down to the most minute detail; however, fans would love to do this heinous crime on their terms freely as they explore the open world.
The gaming community is excited about this sequel and shared their enthusiasm by creating fake images created through artificial intelligence. Some of this fan-made content would lead the casual player to expect something mind-blowing from the game that was not promised by the developer and could set them up for disappointment, and is becoming a problem that far outreaches just Rockstar Games’ projects.
It Is Time for the Developers to Introduce New Groundbreaking GTA 6 Features
The developers should give the players more freedom in the sequel. Robbing banks and heists are common in previous Grand Theft Auto games but players couldn’t do it in free roam.
The modding community took matters into their own hands and made several mods in GTA 5 and players could plan to an extent in the Online mode that gave an approximation of this, but not the full experience.
Game development can be time-consuming and tedious, not to mention the potential of being affected by external conflicts that could lead to a project being pushed back further than expected.
The recent SAG-AFTRA strikes should not give fans a reason to panic since the game is unaffected; however, it would buy the developers more time to polish the game and add more content.
GTA 6 could be the biggest and flashiest video game to date and it is only prudent to expect new features and mechanics. The developers are renowned for their attention to detail and fans encourage them to push harder.
