Rockstar Games has made some impressive projects in the past few years, and every new game was a massive step up from the previous ones. The prequel to Red Dead Redemption was arguably the biggest and most detailed game the team has worked on.

The Gaming Community Wants Jason to Have a Journal in GTA 6

The developers should not be ashamed to reflect on older concepts and ideas and reapply them in GTA 6. Rockstar Games has always been a leader in innovation in the game industry and continued to elevate the franchise with new and ambitious ideas. Some players believe one hobby of a universally praised protagonist should be carried over to this upcoming game.

The Red Dead Redemption prequel was set during the late 1800s when the days of cowboys and outlaws were numbered and for a gunslinger like Arthur Morgan, he needed a place to express his feelings freely and safely. The journal was a powerful narrative tool that most players overlooked and featured some interesting tidbits of information.

Players believe this idea should make a comeback for Jason to use in a more modernized way through smartphones and social media. The previous GTA game had its version of social media, and it would be impressive if the developers had now figured out a more immersive way for players to access the social media accounts of the protagonists and post whatever they see fit.

This is not the only concept the gaming community wants to see make a return. Rockstar Games added a few rare cutscenes if players have been acting up and pursued by the law as Arthur and instead of serving his sentence, other gang members and friends would bust him out of prison. The brief cutscenes were hilarious and added more depth to the characters.

Red Dead Redemption 2 Is the Perfect Blueprint for Future Projects

The nature of most Rockstar Games usually focuses on violence and the life of crime and it can take a toll on a person’s mental health. Arthur is no saint and realizes that, and needs a place to be vulnerable and explore his thoughts.

Fans can expect Jason and Lucia to make questionable decisions in the upcoming sequel. Perhaps neither of the two is built for this life and could use a reprieve from all the chaos through journaling.

It couldn’t be easy to walk around town with a gun strapped to the hip and to have full agency to use it on anyone and cause some gruesome deaths. The mental state of Arthur slowly deteriorated and the honor system is the metric used to determine it.

Rockstar Games should reuse the real-time hair growth and muscle system. These concepts could improve the sequel and honor what came before.
