Grand Theft Auto is one of the most popular video game franchises out there, and the reveal of the upcoming installment in the series, GTA 6, has fans excited. The reveal trailer for the game was released last year, and while there won’t be much more revealed for some time, fans have kept themselves busy to celebrate the game.

Fan Recreates Real-Life GTA 6 Trailer, and It’s Amazing
Since the release of the trailer, fans have recreated the GTA 6 trailer in numerous ways. A fan did the faithful recreation in GTA 5, while another hilarious recreation came from car manufacturer Hyundai. YouTuber Andrew Levitt has now recreated a real-life trailer using real-life locations, and the result is something Hollywood-like.
The game’s fictional location Leonida is based in Florida, and the video shows a real-life location that has been seen in the official trailer. Every shot in the recreated trailer is faithful to what’s seen in the original trailer, whether it is the beach, prison, or other things, and even the characters have matched the appearance of Jason and Lucia.
The video opens with Miami’s shots, featuring the same iconic “Love is a Long Road” by Tom Petty. The recreated trailer also features places like PortMiami, Wynwood, and Ocean Drive, as well as the Everglades and Florida Keys. What’s more impressive is that the video includes the flamingos, and the choice of bananas instead of guns is truly hilarious.
The Behind the Scenes Video Shows How the Trailer Was Recreated
The YouTuber also shared a behind-the-scenes video on how they went on to recreate the popular trailer, which makes it even more amazing. The video shows the YouTuber traveling to Miami, where he and his team took several shots to recreate the trailer.
The original trailer has 46 shots in total, and Levitt had to get a lot of the shots themselves. Andrew Levitt had to capture several shots of the real-life locations that are in the official trailer. The creator was able to spot several things as seen in the trailer, such as the buildings near the beach, the lifeguard tower, the skyscrapers from downtown Miami, and more.
He also visited the pub as seen in the trailer, but it turns out it was empty. The creator also managed to find the buildings with graffiti as seen in the trailer and found people dancing on the boat, and the Florida Keys shot taken in real life is really amazing.
All this shows how much effort the developers have put into the trailer and, hence, the game. The video has garnered over 180k views at the time of writing and will surely get many more.
