Rockstar Games is finally going to reveal the trailer for GTA 6 in early December as per the announcement by the President of Rockstar Games, Sam Houser. Not much has been known about the game so far but last year’s leak gave players a lot of details on what they could see and expect in GTA 6. This includes characters, setting, gameplay mechanics, weapons, and more.
Most of the gameplay in GTA games revolves around combat and weaponry is an important part of it. GTA 5 featured some of the best weapons in the Grand Theft Auto games and Rockstar would like to maintain that arsenal but only make it better. Although nothing concrete is known about what weapons players might see in GTA 6, we can expect some from previous games as well as some originals.
What Weapons Can Players Expect To See in GTA 6?
As per what is known about GTA 6 from the leaks, the game will feature a whole new design for the weapons wheel, and both the protagonists, Jason and Lucia will have separate inventories and will also share one. Players will be able to scroll through the items in the weapons wheel and they will also be free to drop one weapon whenever they want.
It is also rumored that GTA 6 will allow underwater shooting and combat and when players use a different weapon, Assault Rifles might appear on their backs. As for the weapons that players can expect to see, some of the weapons are from the previous installments that have left a lasting impact on players, so the weaponry will be similar to GTA 5 but could bring more new weapons.
Players might get an RPG, Micro SMG, Knife, Axe, Combat Grenade Launcher, Carbine Rifle, Assault Shotgun, Assault Rifle, MKII Heavy Revolver, Molotov, Stun Gun, and more. RPG is one of the most popular weapons in GTA games and although it is highly expensive, players love the damage they can do with this beast. GTA 6 could bring a more powered RPG that could be a highlight of the weapons available in the game.
Micro SMG or Uzi has the best damage rate in all of the GTA titles and is the best weapon to rain bullets on your enemies a point-blank range or scare away the civilians in a bank during the heist. GTA 6‘s setting and story could improve the use and effectiveness of this gun. The Carbine Rifle is one of the most reliable weapons in GTA‘s story mode. The gun has a good firing rate and very well performance in both close and short range and players can expect to get their hands on it in GTA 6.
There are missions in GTA that do not require players to kill enemies but just to move them out of their goal and that’s where Stun Gun aids you. Stun Gun can help players take down an enemy easily and try proceeding to complete the mission in secret. This weapon in GTA 6 would help players in the time they need to lay low.
As far as other weapons go, a shotgun can also fatally wound your enemies. There is always a shotgun in GTA and an Assault Shotgun is a player’s best friend when they have little time to reload. Assault Shotgun has the best reload time, excellent firing rate, and most rounds of all the other shotguns. GTA 6 will surely have this shotgun with upgraded features as oar with modern times.
There are also other weapons and tools that players can expect to see that will get them through doors and enemies to complete the missions. These include Baseball Bats, Flashbangs, Polymer Pistols, Smoke Grenade, Pool Cue, Crowbar, Smoke Grenade, and a few others. Other featured items as per leaks that players can see in GTA 6 include Golf Balls, Golf Wedge, USB Drive, Lockpick, Wine, Trauma Kit, Slim Jim, and more.
