Like every online game, Helldivers 2 has also some hackers despite its strict anti-cheat system. We’ve seen hackers since day 1, spawning unreleased vehicles, Stratagems, and weapons. Once again, a player on the Helldivers 2 subreddit has shared some screenshots of a hacker using unreleased Stratagems that players might have not seen before.

The hacker was able to spawn in 2 Stratagems called “Defense Wall” and “Commando.” Judging by the player’s description of these Stratagems, it seems like these will be very useful on the battlefield. These screenshots have assured the community that Arrowhead is working on new things as players have been eagerly waiting for new Stratagems. The Commando Stratagem is not new to the franchise as the first game also had this Stratagem.

A player on the r/Helldivers2 subreddit has shared screenshots of a hacker using 2 unreleased Stratagems in a Helldivers 2 public lobby. The first Stratagem, called the “Defense Wall” is a deployable wall that provides defense against enemies’ firepower. The player also added that this wall had a unique animation.

The second Stratagem, called “Commando” isn’t new to hardcore fans. The first Helldivers game featured MLS-4X Commando, a single-use 4X Missile Launcher System. This Stratagem is single-use just like the EAT-17 Expendable Anti-Tank. The player also added that the Stratagem had a laser sight as well.

Helldivers 2‘s popularity has dipped and the lack of new content could be the primary reason behind it. Many players have complained that the game is slowly becoming boring and repetitive, something that new gear, weapons, and Stratagems can fix. Players have been waiting for the Illuminate invasion but it would be much better if Arrowhead introduces new Stratagems specifically designed to take down this faction.
Not just the Illuminate, but the Terminid faction is also expected to get some backup soon. Hive-Lords from the first Helldivers game are expected to make an appearance on the battlefield soon. The recent patch fixed many Stratagems and improved the overall gameplay but if Arrowhead wants to keep the players hooked then they need to add new things.
Helldivers 2 is available on Windows and PlayStation 5.
