Harrison Ford Suffered Multiple Injuries On Movie Sets
When it comes to injuries, Harrison Ford’s got a long list of them. From Star Wars to Indiana Jones, the 80-year-old actor has an interesting set of backstories about his bruises and scars. For instance, during the filming of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Han Solo’s much-awaited return came with a near-death experience.

During one scene, a hydraulic door was accidentally activated, and Ford, who was underneath it, ended up breaking his leg. He described the incident as a “f***ing great hydraulic door which closed at light speed.” During the filming of The Fugitive, he damaged some ligaments in the left leg but refused surgery because it allowed him to stay in Richard Kimble’s character.
But nothing beats the kind of injuries he suffered during his time with the Indiana Jones franchise. He suffered a back injury during the filming of Indiana Jones and The Temple of Doom. During Indiana Jones 5, America’s heartthrob suffered a serious shoulder injury due to which he had to take a hiatus from filming.
