The creator of magic, J.K. Rowling, finds herself in a real-life controversy as fans accuse her of spreading divisive claims about a Muslim woman of color in the Paris Olympics.

In a tweet shared by Sky News, Olympic 2024 boxer Imane Khelif opened up about the harsh criticism she faced due to misconceptions about her gender. An X user re-tweeted the post and wrote:

Never let it be forgotten that at the outset of the 2024 UK race riots, JK Rowling spent days on end spreading hateful far-right lies about this young muslim woman of color.

This accusation might seem wild, but it’s gaining steam online with fans raising fingers at J.K Rowling for spreading hateful lies about boxer Khelif.

Now it’s important to note that there’s no solid proof that Rowling had anything to do with the riots or the hate campaign against a certain sport.

This isn’t the first time something of this sort has happened with Rowling, though. It all started back in 2020, when she first shared her thoughts on gender identity and trans rights. Her views on the transgenger community wasn’t appreciated at all, and a lot of people, including fans and actors like Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson, spoke out against her tweets (via Glamour).

Rowling has said she is not transphobic, but her attitude has clearly turned off a lot of her fans. With this new dispute, it looks like the author and her fans are becoming even less close.
