Although plenty of moments on set were filled with joy, laughter, and levity, Rupert Grint somehow failed to manage his giggles, even while filming which ended up affecting Daniel Radcliffe, as well. Rupert Grint Failed To Control His Giggles

Apparently, while filming, the young stars – Grint and Radcliffe repeatedly struggled to suppress their giggles.
The budding actors found it super hard to keep a straight face while filming Harry Potter. Thus, this recurring issue ended up disrupting filming for everyone on set. Recalling the problem, director Chris Columbus mentioned how Rupert Grint and Daniel Radcliffe felt delighted to be on the set, which made them giggle from time to time.
Thus, reflecting upon the issue that kept ruining takes, Rupert Grint opened up about his and Daniel Radcliffe’s “giggling problem”. The actor mentioned how Alan Rickman tried to intervene and help them both with their little issue. With years of experience, Rickman tried imparting his advice to the young actors.
Alan Rickman’s Piece Of Advice Didn’t Help
Renowned for his nuanced portrayals, Alan Rickman tried his level best to guide Rupert Grint and Daniel Radcliffe, while filming Harry Potter. With the experience of appearing in serious roles, Rickman eagerly imparted his wisdom to the young cast members. However, his advice didn’t serve well.
Recalling how Alan Rickman shared a method he thought might help, Rupert Grint mentioned how it failed to serve him. Apparently, the late actor advised them to relax their facial muscles and keep their minds clear of any distracting thoughts. Although Grint thought it was a straightforward and effective approach at first, he soon realized the method wasn’t for him.
Thus, Rupert Grint later admitted that the technique didn’t have the desired outcome for him. With the failed method and their giggling problem throughout filming, Grint and Radcliffe struggled with their scenes. However, eventually, the film series turned out to be a classic cinematic spectacle.
