American Wrestler turned actor, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson is one of the most popular actors as his former professional wrestling self. Coming to Hollywood, the actor debuted in Stephen Sommers’ adventure action film The Mummy Returns in 2001. For his role, the Scorpion King, Johnson gained enough popularity to clear his corridor in Hollywood attracting more filmmakers to consider him in their projects. He then went on to become the richest wrestler in the world with a net worth of $75 million in 2012. The action star has gained $320 million in 2019, mostly pushed to the top dollars by successful movie deals in previous years.

For his debut movie, he was paid $5.5 million for portraying The Scorpion King. He earned $20 million for his Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw role while his co-stars Jason Statham and Idris Elba were paid $13 and $8 million, respectively. Most of Dwayne Johnson’s Earning Come from Teremana Tequila Sales

As per reports, the films he has starred in contribute only about a quarter of his total net worth. According to Celebrity Net Worth, The Black Adam star has a 30-40% stake in Teremana Tequila and a $2 billion conservative estimate as of now. The site also stated that, theoretically, The Rock could make over $1 billion from the tequila company.

Teremana Tequila is famous for its meticulous process of producing smooth and refreshing liquor. The brand has pushed rock to the number four spot on Forbes’ list of the highest-paid entertainers for 2022. The brand has been expanding and is close to being the “gold standard” of liquor after 650,000 cases sold.

In its debut year in 2020, the liquor brand sold 400,000 cases, doubling what George Clooney’s Casamigos sold before it was acquired by Diageo for $1 billion.

Johnson’s reputation has been the biggest factor for his evergrowing businesses. The actor currently owns Seven Bucks Productions, a television company that was co-created and founded by Johnson and Dany Garcia, he is also associated with an athleticwear line with Under Armour called Project Rock Collection and an energy drink brand, Zoa Energy.
