With Helldivers 2 being a multiplayer co-op title, a lot of your success rides on how well you and your team can collaborate.

No matter how positive you stay, you’re bound to clash with some of your teammates. One Redditor has had enough of people not following an unspoken rule during missions and has taken to the anonymous forum to spill their guts out about it.

There are a lot of unspoken rules each multiplayer game has, and this one particular rule in Helldivers 2 has been broken so many times that one player has had enough of it.

PSA: if you see somebody organizing artillery shells on the ground next to the cannon, don’t just run up and load the first shell you find without thinking.

As the title suggests, one player has reached their limit with people loading and firing artillery shells without giving it a second thought, especially when teammates are taking their time to organize them.

For context, different types of artillery shells vary in size and power. Ideally, you want to assess your situation and use what you think suits you best. For others, it’s a matter of going in order from least to most powerful or vice versa.

OP describes a personal anecdote from the previous day where they were grabbing artillery shells and dropping them in front of the cannon loader in order of “biggest boom to smallest.

Suddenly, a teammate came up and grabbed the first shell they saw, walking past an explosive and a mini-nuke to load and fire a smoke shell into the cannon.

OP was so infuriated, that they kicked the player immediately, which is already a huge issue in the Helldivers 2 community.

The Community Weighs in on OP’s Rant

One comment attempts to clear up how the SEAF artillery cannon should be used in different scenarios. If you’ve got the time to plan before using it, definitely do so.

If there are less than 15 minutes left, the player suggests loading and launching it while leaving some good artillery for evacuation.

Finally, if there’s barely any time left, don’t even bother thinking about it—blast the thing.

Another player says they’re not going to waste time organizing shells if a bunch of enemies are coming at them.

Some players felt that the whole rant was a waste of time. Instead of kicking the player and coming to Reddit to complain about it, OP could’ve directly told the player about it in-game through Helldivers 2‘s text or voice chat.

While this is a relatively minor pet peeve, it looks like people have different opinions on it across the board.
