It was during the peak of Renner’s internet craze when he understood just how difficult it can be to manage as many fans on a particular platform. His attempt at something good backfired so badly for him that he had to abolish the idea completely and was infuriated by what the fans had done in the first place.

Jeremy Renner Was Forced To Shut Down The Jeremy Renner App

Jeremy Renner first introduced the Jeremy Renner App back in 2017 with the app being developed by Escapex. The app was a platform for fans of the actor to interact and get access to exclusive photos and videos posted by the actor which were purely limited to the app itself. This was an initiative to bring fans of Renner together and have them grow and learn about each other while still managing to get better contact with the actor as well.

“What was supposed to be a place for fans to connect with each other has turned into a place that is everything I detest or can’t and won’t condone.”

This idea unfortunately completely backfired. The app did not lead to much popularity despite many people using it. The audience was extremely fond of the idea but it could not reach a fanbase as big as Renner would have hoped for. However, it quickly fell as fans would continuously troll others as well as the actor. They were continuously humiliating him and it was nowhere near as successful as the actor would have liked it to be. The app was immediately shut down once the actor made the announcement both within the platform and outside.
