Marvel may soon need to teach Jeff Loveness how not to spoil things. With Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania recently released, the writer has been giving a lot of interviews in support of the movie and Jonathan Majors’ portrayal of Kang.

In an interview that seemed to go under the radar for Marvel, Loveness just confirmed the inclusion of Daredevil, Moon Knight, and Hawkeye’s fight with Kang the Conqueror in the upcoming MCU projects.

Hawkeye Will Probably Die Against Kang The Conqueror

As the title suggests, Jeremy Renner’s Hawkeye will probably die to Jonathan Majors’ Kang the Conqueror in Avengers: The Kang Dynasty. We are not the ones saying it, but the recently joined writer of Marvel may have had a slip of tongue with his words.

In an interview with Polygon that seemed to raise a lot of suspicions, Jeff Loveness may have hinted that Jeremy Renner will need a “lot of luck” against the many variants of Kang the Conqueror for his fight. This seemed to allege that Hawkeye may not survive the fight against the big bad baddie that is Jonathan Majors’ Kang.

In his interview with Polygon, Jeff Loveness had some pretty sweet words for the Marvel fans but they weren’t great for Marvel Studios who wanted things under wrap.

“I wish Hawkeye a lot of luck [against the Kangs],” he said. “I’m sure Daredevil and Moon Knight are gonna be great against those guys.”

The above statement proved two things. Hawkeye will indeed get to fight against Kang the Conqueror (which was bound to happen) but…Daredevil and Moon Knight are also in the mix. Although the Daredevil: Born Again series had long been coming, its integration into the Avengers is something that will be indeed fun to watch.

Since it was an interview and Marvel knows how to fool the audiences, it could very well be a ruse to make the people hope for a big fight. Jeff Loveness may have indeed teased the existence of Hawkeye just to kill the character off mid-way for a shocking element. Or maybe Marvel and Jeff Loveness did truly slip up this time.

As much as Jeff Loveness, the people were also shocked by the negative and terrible reviews that Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania seemed to receive. In the above-said interview, Loveness said that he was “really proud” of the content he wrote and yet found himself in a low spot following the people’s reaction.

“To be honest, those reviews took me by surprise,” Loveness recalled. “I was in a pretty low spot… Those were not good reviews, and I was like, ‘What the …?'”

With a record low of 48% on Rotten Tomatoes and 6.5/10 on IMDB, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania seems to continue the Phase 4 curse of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. With a star-studded cast of Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, and Jonathan Majors, the movie still seemed to be disheartening to a majority of the people.
