Due Date Has a Talented Cast and Crew

Due Date boasted top talent both in front of and behind the camera, which was one of its many strong points. In the movie, Robert Downey Jr. played the straight-laced architect, Peter Highman, who was just trying to get back to Los Angeles because his wife, Sarah (Michelle Monaghan), was about to give birth.

A series of unfortunate events forced him to travel across the country with Ethan Tremblay (Zach Galifianakis) and Ethan’s dog Sonny. Naturally, a lot of mischief happened afterward.

The fairly talented cast of seasoned actors and comedic pros was completed by Jamie Foxx, Juliette Lewis, and Danny McBride, who played supporting roles throughout the various misadventures.

The movie, directed by Todd Phillips, was a success that broke box office records, garnered mixed reviews from critics, and made over $211 million worldwide. Thus, the box office performance of Due Date was positive overall.

Even though Due Date did not become an all-time comedy classic, all of the main actors continued to have outstanding career success after the movie’s release.
