If one thinks of pop music and its influence in the world, it is difficult to look past an artist like Madonna. In many ways, the iconic singer was a pioneer in the genre and is associated with some of the most evergreen songs that have become cult classics over the years. In addition to her charismatic personality, Madonna has also had a colorful personal life when it comes to her various romances.
The Vogue crooner has been married to A-list Hollywood celebrities like Sean Penn and Guy Ritchie, and has also been involved in a short relationship with Warren Beatty with whom she co-starred with in Dick Tracy. While the pop star was pretty open and candid when talking about Beatty in The Howard Stern Show, she refrained from getting too personal when pushed to comment on her s*x life with the actor.
Madonna Gave A Diplomatic Reply To A Personal Question
Among the various relationships that Madonna has been in, the singer’s brief romance with Warren Beatty has been well-documented in Hollywood. The two celebrities met during the filming of Dick Tracy in 1989 and dated for a little over a year before calling it quits. The La Isla Bonita singer moved on to date many other personalities, including being married to Guy Ritchie, and Sean Penn as well.
In a 2016 appearance on The Howard Stern Show, the Evita star spoke to the host about many aspects of her life and career including her romance with Beatty. The singer was extremely candid and at ease while talking about her former lover, whom she admitted was great in bed. Speaking of his experience with many women, she said,
“He’s dated all of Hollywood basically. I enjoyed it actually.”
Madonna also surprised listeners with her openness to discuss the Bugsy actor’s other girlfriends with him, and believed that there was nothing uncomfortable about these discussions. But the singer refused to take the bait when asked to comment if Beatty was the best lover she had ever been with. Deciding that this is where she would draw the line, she said,
”I’m not going to answer that question. Oh, no. I’m pleading the fifth.”
Madonna went on to elaborate on this and stated that it was virtually impossible to make this decision as it involved various factors that were not just s*xual in nature, but also had to do with emotions and feelings which cannot be quantified so exactly.
Warren Beatty Has Massive Respect For Ex-Girlfriend Madonna
Madonna and Warren Beatty dated for a brief 15 months after meeting on the sets of their film Dick Tracy. While their relationship did not stand the test of time, the two stars have been open about the pleasant memories they have shared during their short romance. The pop star praised Beatty as a great lover and has expressed her admiration for him even after their breakup.
Judging by the Bonnie and Clyde actor’s comments about Madonna in various interviews, it seems like the feeling is mutual. In 2016, Beatty spoke to People about the singer’s aura and believed that she was unique and talented like no one else.
“She’s a huge personality, diligent and disciplined and a spectacular dancer and performer. She’s a phenomenon.”
During their courtship, the two celebrities did have a minor difference of opinion concerning Madonna’s documentary Truth Or Dare in which Beatty was featured as well. While the actor was initially hesitant about some of the content regarding his portrayal, he eventually conceded with the condition that he would be consulted on what was being put out before it made the final cut.
Dick Tracy can be rented on Apple TV.
