Marvel’s Kang the Conqueror Jonathan Majors has not had a good year so far. Although fans loved his performance as the villainous character, the future of that very character is in jeopardy following his arrest back in March.

It is still unconfirmed whether he really will be replaced as of yet, however, with two talent management companies dropping him and a major ad campaign being pulled out of the market does not seem like a positive response from the industry so far.

Even though, he still has some time as the filming for his 2025 Marvel movie Avengers: Kang Dynasty starts next year, there are rumors going around that the studio might actually drop him before that.

This is especially a shock to him and his fans as that was one movie he seemed to still have in the bag even with the lawsuit going on. Fortunately for him though, his fans have been constantly rallying for him to be able to go through the project as the date looms closer.

Jonathan Majors was arrested in March following assault charges

In late March this year, Majors was arrested after a woman reported to be his girlfriend called the cops on him with allegations of assault. This resulted in an immediate arrest with him being taken into custody and his girlfriend being escorted to the hospital given the visible albeit minor injuries on her body.

Although he got out of custody shortly and his lawyer Priya Chaudhry claimed that her client was being wrongfully accused and Jonathan Majors will soon be proven innocent, the lawsuit including charges of harassment and assault is still ongoing.

What came as a bleak update for him though, was the major US military ad campaign he was part of being completely pulled from the market immediately.

Not only that, but two talent management companies dropping him, and two major movies he was allegedly headlining replaced him quickly. As such, whether he still will be a part of Marvel‘s plans for their upcoming Phase 5 projects is still shrouded in mystery.

Jonathan Majors’ fans demand Marvel reinstate him as Kang

Jonathan Majors and his fans were rightfully excited for Avengers: Kang Dynasty as it was supposed to be the actor’s major Marvel movie.

With fans claiming that his spectacular performance as the supervillain in Ant-Man and the Wasp Quantumania, “chilled them to the bones,” the expectations for his solo movie only increased following Ant-Man 3‘s release.

However, given the situation at hand, it is kind of difficult to say whether he really will be able to return to terrorize the Avengers in the next movie.

Although Jonathan Majors is confirmed to reprise his character in the second season of Loki coming out later this year, his future going forward in the MCU seems to still be in jeopardy much to the disappointment of his fans.

As such, they have taken to the Internet to rally for him to be reinstated in the upcoming 2025 movie.

It is imperative to mention that no official statements regarding their stance on Jonathan Majors’ future in the studio have yet been announced by Marvel. As such, there is still hope that he indeed will reprise his role not just in Kang Dynasty but also in later movies.

And fans especially hope that their voice will be taken into consideration when the time finally comes for the studio to announce their position.
