Jennifer Lopez Talked About Working With Wesley Snipes

Jennifer Lopez starred alongside the Blade actor Wesley Snipes and Woody Harrelson in the 1995 film Money Train. The action comedy follows two foster brothers who plan to rob a high-tech train carrying a ton of money along with a fellow police officer. Although the film was warmly received by critics, it failed at the box office, grossing only $77 million worldwide.

In her resurfaced interview, Lopez opened up about her experience of sharing the screen with the Passenger 57 actor. She shared that Snipes constantly flirted with her and tried making moves on her. And when she rejected his advances, he got “really upset about it.”

The Shotgun Wedding star claimed that The Recall star’s “ego was totally bruised,” and he did not talk to her for two months. She also mentioned how actors in the industry prefer to hear “Yes” when they approach a woman and get offended when they face rejection.

“Actors are used to getting their way and to treating women like objects. They’re so used to hearing the word, Yes,” she said. The singer-actress also opened up about feeling insecure while filming the love scene for the action comedy.

Jennifer Lopez Felt Horrible Filming the Love Scene

Money Train features Jennifer Lopez as a newly assigned transit officer who falls for Wesley Snipes’ character. The story also required some intimate scenes between the actors. However, the Marry Me star, who was still starting her acting career, was not comfortable undressing for the love scenes.

In an interview with Contactmusic, the singer-actor shared that she felt “horrible” while filming those scenes. Lopez mentioned that she did not think that she could say no to filming them, so she went ahead with it. The Hustlers star said, “So we did it, and it was tough.”

Wesley Snipes responded to Lopez’s claims, saying that the Second Act actress never did a love scene before Money Train. So, he was given instructions from the director to make her feel good and wanted to develop chemistry with her, which would be helpful for their characters in the film.

The Gigli actress also shared that Snipes did try to make her comfortable, but things got complicated after he tried taking their relationship a bit further off-screen.
