Schwarzenegger – who’d been in his late ’50s at the time – was vacationing in Hawaii with his family when he spotted the man in question struggling approximately 400 yards near the coast. Realizing that he may need help, the Austrian actor immediately rushed to the stranger’s rescue (via Hello!).

I realized he was having trouble and I asked him if he was in trouble and he said he had cramps all over his body. I set him on the beach and told him to relax a little because he was so out of shape. He told me that for two years he hadn’t done any exercise.

A witness at the time also noted how the former politician helped the man even after saving him from the sea and was by his side until the latter was good to go. Meanwhile, the current President is dropping F-bombs on live television whilst butting heads with the former one.

After being elected as California’s 38th governor in a recall election, Schwarzenegger, 76, implemented an array of policies that contributed significantly to the state’s development. Chief of them were his environmental conservation efforts and educational as well as healthcare reforms (via Learn California).

While his political tenure wasn’t devoid of challenges, the Commando star proved to be a successful governor nevertheless. But Donald Trump begged to differ.

After a heated back-and-forth between the 45th president of the United States and Schwarzenegger, the latter once suggested that Trump should switch jobs with him for the betterment of the people. “You take over TV because you’re such an expert in ratings, and I take over your job, so then people can finally sleep comfortably again,” the former governor stated (via Variety).

Trump, for his part, continued to mock and diss Schwarzenegger and even criticized his political career. At any rate, it couldn’t be as bad as the unending controversies and scandals surrounding the former president himself.
