Gohan was destined to surpass Goku and Vegeta in Dragon Ball due to his unbelievable potential

The Saiyans are a very talented race of individuals capable of getting stronger and stronger. Their powers are built on their emotions, and some have unprecedented potential.

One of the characters is Gohan, who seems to be a prodigy; even when he was a kid, he was a monster-strong, which was evident when he beat up Cell, who was mopping the floor with Z fighters.

Even Goku was not a match for it, and if it were not for Gohan, the Z fighters would have been annihilated. However, unlike his father, he did not want to get stronger.
