Jamie Foxx’s talent knows no bounds. He is, quite easily, one of the best actors ruling the entertainment industry today. Therefore, it came as a punch to the gut when it was revealed that he had been hospitalized for a mysterious medical condition a few months back. While not much is known about what exactly happened to Jamie Foxx, the actor is on the road to a speedy recovery, according to his daughter.
Jamie Foxx made his first public appearance this month, traveling along the Chicago River on a boat. And now, a video of him going out of his way to help a woman on the road is making rounds on the Internet. Although this was a good deed on Jamie Foxx’s part, the Internet has come up with its own theory which might sound a little absurd to you – that’s not Jamie Foxx; he has been cloned!
Jamie Foxx Extends Help to a Woman
Jamie Foxx was recently spotted in Chicago looking better than ever and helping out a woman in need. In a short clip shared on social media, the Django Unchained actor can be seen saving the day and then riding off in his black SUV. While the video was full of commotion, the caption explained that the woman had dropped her bag while on a carriage ride and did not realize it.
#JamieFoxx is outchea savin the day! A woman was on a carriage ride in Chicago today when her bag fell w/o her knowledge. A truck stopped to give it to her and out walked Jamie.
As he hugged her, she asked how he was, to which he responded, he feels great! (🎥:@barber_homie_quan) pic.twitter.com/6qNQhPPFAD— TheShadeRoom (@TheShadeRoom) July 11, 2023
Moments later, a black vehicle driving by stopped to help, and out came none other than Foxx himself who returned the bag to the woman. As the actor rode off, the woman can be heard saying, “Thank you, Jamie.” The caption also stated that the woman hugged Foxx and asked him how he was. He replied stating that he felt great.
Now, while the actor seems to be doing pretty well after the hospitalization, netizens have picked up on a strange theory that has been said about a lot of celebrities in the past as well. According to fans, the person coming out of the SUV was not Foxx at all, but rather his clone.
Fans Believe Jamie Foxx Has Been Cloned
Foxx made his first public appearance while riding on a boat along the Chicago River, as can be seen in a video shared by TMZ. Just a few days later, the video of him helping the woman who lost her bag went viral on social media. Of course, just like many other wild conspiracies, the Internet came up with one for Foxx stating that the actor has been cloned. Ironically, this theory comes right when Foxx’s new film, They Cloned Tyrone, is about to be released.
According to the conspiracy theory, fans find it suspicious that Foxx, who was hospitalized just moments ago, is now suddenly up and running, playing pickleball. Here are a few comments from the fans who believe in the conspiracy:

Of course, there is a much larger group of people who are absolutely not buying into the obnoxious theory and are just happy the actor is doing well.
When rumors of Foxx’s deteriorating health started surfacing, his daughter was quick to shut them down. Sharing a report that claimed Foxx’s family was preparing for the worst on her Instagram story, Corrine Foxx wrote, “Update from the family: Sad to see how the media runs wild. My dad has been out of the hospital for weeks.”
Foxx was also recently spotted playing golf in Naperville, Illinois. A source told PEOPLE that the actor was in “good spirits and having a good time.” They also added that Foxx was looking healthy and did not require any physical assistance at all.
Foxx will soon be seen in his upcoming film, They Cloned Tyrone, which releases on Netflix on July 21, 2023.
