In another rumored scene, Depp begs The Weeknd to assault her sexually. The report further claims that Levinson has transformed the show’s underlying message into one in which the woman takes pleasure in being beaten by her man.
The Weeknd and Depp denied the allegations and spoke positively about their time on the show. Depp praised Levinson for fostering a cooperative atmosphere on set, while The Weeknd responded to the Rolling Stone article by tweeting a clip from the show.
