Apart from his long list of accolades that he has achieved in the ring of WWE, he has also now transitioned to the film industry with a successful track record to date. Therefore, with so much influence that the star commands, he tries his best to give back to the people he owes his success to, although, he may not be so public about it unlike some of his peers.

Popular for his action-packed and awe-inspiring in-ring persona, professional wrestler-turned-actor John Cena has become a name that strikes respect in the heart of the audience through his performances, whether it may be in the ring or in front of the camera. And while he has no obligation to indulge with the public and his fans, he believes that he owes this much to the world for giving him everything that he wanted in life. Therefore, while he may not talk about it, the star has been in numerous charitable endeavors, so much so that he was ordered to reveal them.

In a past episode of a podcast, WWE icon Paul Heyman was talking about just how much he respects John Cena, both as an in-ring performer as well as an individual for his selfless nature. He also talked about just how humble the Bumblebee star is, revealing the time and effort he has spent making Make-A-Wish foundation visits to the less fortunate children. In fact, while these visits might be common knowledge to the public, what may be shocking is the world record he has set with more than 650 visits in his career. During the podcast, Heyman said:

“I don’t have the words to convey the admiration I have for John Cena as a human being, there had to come a point in time where Vince had to sit down with John and say, ‘You need to let me go public with these Make-A-Wish visits. You have to. You know you’re hurting Make-A-Wish by not allowing me to do that because if people understood how much of your time you give to Make-A-Wish and to these kids, they’ll be inclined to contribute. They’ll be inclined to get involved. You will help them if you allow this,’ because Cena never wanted to exploit it. He never wanted publicity for it. He never wanted recognition for it. He wanted to just do it. That’s a hero.”

While Cena might’ve just wanted to do these good deeds without recognition, another former WWE superstar Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has never left a single time to publicize his charitable endeavors to the public. One of these instances was the time when he gave a $100,000+ truck to an ex-US Marine.

After his appearance in James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad and spin-off series Peacemaker, it’s safe to assume that he will be a regular occurrence in the DCU going forward. Apart from that, the star has also become a crucial name in the Fast and Furious franchise by playing the role of Jakob Toretto, the younger brother of Dominic Toretto.
