In addition to his professional career, Tom Cruise’s personal life has also been documented by the media for many years. Much has been said about his past marriages to Nicole Kidman and Katie Holmes. Since then, the actor has been reportedly linked to some women along the way and currently, it seems the Cruise has a new woman in his life.
The Mission Impossible star has been spending time together with actress Victoria Canal since they met at Glastonbury this year. Cruise recently took Canal and her brother on a helicopter ride as they arrived at the premiere of Twisters. As they reportedly grow close, Cruise has now bought a luxurious penthouse in London, near Buckingham Palace which cost a whopping $233 million (via Meaww.com).
A source told Radaronline.com that Cruise has been living in London full-time for some years, planning his film shoots there. He has been renting the penthouse for some time and decided that it was the right time to buy it. Cruise seems to be indeed smitten by the Spanish-American singer-songwriter.
Nick Offerman Praises Tom Cruise’s Incredible Commitment On Set of Mission Impossible 8
Nick Offerman is joining the ensemble cast of the eighth installment of the Mission Impossible franchise. It is the first project that unites Tom Cruise and The Last of Us actor and he had great words to say about the production of the mammoth film. In an appearance on the Light The Fuse podcast, Offerman praised the dynamic of the cast he got to work with on set.
The actor was in awe of what Christopher McQuarrie and Cruise’s vision for the film, calling it indescribable. He had never been in a set like Mission Impossible 8 and described the project as an ambitious painting where they all were the paints that contributed to it. Offerman said,
It’s really fun and fascinating. There’s a handful of very high-caliber actors that I’m getting to work with as well as the lead guy, and getting to toss the ball around is incredible. Getting to watch them deal with the fire hose technique is fascinating because everybody brings a great deal of elan and panache and years of experience.
And watching McQ and Tom do their thing, you can’t really describe it to people. You have to be there. I’ve never seen anything like it. It’s like they’re painting an incredible mural and we’re all the paints.
In addition to Cruise and Offerman, Mission Impossible 8 will also star Ving Rhames, Henry Czerny, Simon Pegg, Vanessa Kirby, Esai Morales, Hayley Atwell, Shea Whigham, Pom Klementieff, Hannah Waddingham, and Frederick Schmidt.
The eighth film is scheduled to hit theatres on May 23, 2025.
