Actor Arnold Schwarzenegger previously explained what happens to a person after death. The actor said that the topic of death is something that he is not a huge fan of and added that he lost 15 friends in the last 20 years, including his idol, Reg Park, who died in 2007.
Over the years, Schwarzenegger has worked hard to establish himself as a successful actor. A three-part documentary, Arnold, is all set to release on Netflix 7th of June 2023. Fans will get to see Schwarzenegger’s journey from a 15-year-old boy with a bodybuilding dream to the heartthrob of Hollywood.
Arnold Schwarzenegger talked about heaven and death
Actor Arnold Schwarzenegger previously sat down for an interview with Danny DeVito and was asked, “What’s in the future for us,” the actor’s reply was,
“It reminds me of Howard Stern’s question to me. ‘Tell me, governor, what happens to us when we die?’ I said, ‘Nothing. You’re 6 feet under. Anyone that tells you something else is a f**king liar.’ I said, ‘We don’t know what happens with the soul and all this spiritual stuff that I’m not an expert in, but I know that the body as we see each other now, we will never see each other again like that.”
The actor made it clear that once a person is dead, you will never see them again in their body form. In terms of soul, the actor wasn’t so sure.
The Internet reacted to Schwarzenegger’s statement
Social media can be a ruthless place, people love to troll famous celebrities for their statements. The same thing happened with Schwarzenegger as some people found it funny.

However, many people also had serious debates about heaven and hell. Many people agreed with Schwarzenegger while many disagreed.
The topic of death makes Arnold Schwarzenegger uncomfortable
The actor further explained his idea of heaven and also added that the topic of death makes him quite uncomfortable. He said,
“When people talk about, ‘I will see them again in heaven,’ it sounds so good, but the reality is that we won’t see each other again after we’re gone. That’s the sad part. I know people feel comfortable with death, but I don’t. To me, heaven is where I put a person who I love dearly, who is kind, who is generous, who made a difference in my life and other people’s lives. I keep them in a spot in my head, like that front row that you have of all of your friends. And you always have a good feeling when you think of them.”
Schwarzenegger also added that he lost 15 of his friends “in the last 20 years or so,” including his bodybuilding idol Reg Park, who died in 2007.
