Brad Pitt was deeply embarrassed during a s*x scene

Brad Pitt starred alongside Oscar-winning actress Geena David in his breakout movie Thelma & Louise, which skyrocketed the actor’s rise to the top. But unlike most of his projects after the Ridley Scott classic, the Seven Star was extremely embarrassed while filming an intimate sequence with his costar. Reflecting on the situation in her memoir Dying of Politeness, Geena Davis revealed the reason behind Pitt’s embarrassment.

According to her, Pitt was extremely embarrassed about a pimple on his bottom, which his makeup artist had to cover up after every take during the filming of the s*x scene. She recalled,

“Brad, for his part, couldn’t have cared less about all the fuss over his looks. He was just embarrassed about a tiny little pimple on his b*tt that the make-up gal re-covered after each take.”

Geena Davis made sure Brad Pitt ended up starring in Thelma & Louise

It’s quite known that Brad Pitt wasn’t the initial favorite for the role of J.D. in Thelma & Louise and actors, including Robert Downey Jr. and George Clooney came close to winning the part. But it was the Oscar-Winning star Geena Davis, who played a crucial part in making sure that Pitt secures the job. The Stuart Little actress recounted that she was mesmerized by Pitt’s audition and when she was asked about her opinion of all the finalists for the role, Davis gave thumps up to“the blond one”. She explained,

“The fourth one who comes in is Brad Pitt, and he’s so charismatic and so incredibly talented that I was, like, screwing up his audition. I’d forget to say my lines.”
