Anne Hathaway Commends Christian Bale’s Professionalism

Anne Hathaway and Christian Bale shared a lot of time during the filming of The Dark Knight Rises. While a lot of people are not that okay with method acting in particular, her experience was different.

“I think because Christian had been there for so long, he just was so calm, always quick to laugh and have a good time but at the same time was really serious about work. He set such a great example and it was just really easy to kind of fall in step.”

She acknowledged the fact that most of her scenes were only with Bale and that was a big advantage she had. She was more than happy to see how wonderful he and Christopher Nolan mixed with each other. Their scenes were on a different level for her and she could only admire just how interesting it was for her. The entire experience had been one of a kind for her and it was more than enough for Hathaway to create her own impression of the actor.

Christian Bale and Anne Hathaway were very friendly with each other on set. They were always seen laughing and mixing with each other. She really admired the fact that Hathaway was able to work with some of the biggest names in Hollywood. The fact that Bale is a heavily experienced and skilled actor was not ignored by the actress and she could see just why he is so looked up at.
