In a recent interview, the actress was asked about all the on-set details of her upcoming film Dune: Part Two, including what other stars on set were like to witness while shooting for the film. Ferguson was quick to bring Butler into the conversation, claiming that she was downright scared of him when he was in character during the filming process.

Putting on a performance of a lifetime for the audience is no easy feat, and to do so while making it look effortlessly graceful requires natural talent that only a few possess, which is where Rebecca Ferguson comes in. With her natural charm and elegant grit, she was able to steal the gaze of the audience in Mission: Impossible- Rogue Nation from an industry icon like Tom Cruise himself.

And yet, when she witnessed someone else put on the same kind of performance in front of her eyes, filled with more intensity and power, she felt the terror of what the audiences may feel looking at a story and scene unfolding in front of their eyes. This was the time when the Silo actress witnessed her Dune: Part Two co-star Austin Butler shoot for his scene in the film while being deep in character.

In conversation with Lorraine‘s Ranvir Singh, the actress opened up about this experience she had on set, where she revealed:

“The day before, he was shooting the scene, so I asked him if I could come on set. And I saw him, and I don’t think I have been so taken aback by someone’s appearence. He was so scary. He was so forceful. And then, as soon as he was done, this little smile, this wonderfully deep voice.”

While there may have been no intentions from Butler to scare Ferguson in any manner, this small incident just goes to show how invested these stars can really get when they try their best.
