Many actors have to play pretend and be intimate with a lot of actors throughout their careers. Having to kiss one co-costars is perhaps one of the most common practices in the acting profession. It has also become sort of a norm for celebrities to be asked questions like, what was their best on-screen kiss, or which actor is the best kisser?
Sandra Bullock, best known for her work in massive movies like Bird Box and The Unforgivable, has been intimate on-camera with some of Hollywood’s finest, from Ryan Reynolds to Channing Tatum. Having kissed so many stars, the actress revealed which one of her co-stars was the most fun to kiss for her.

During a 2018 interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Sandra Bullock played a round of burning questions with Ellen DeGeneres. Here, the actress was asked a question and had to speak out the first answer that comes to mind. The questions were quite diverse, going from her talking about the most rebellious thing she has ever done, to her talking about her most useless talents, and her being asked which of her past co-stars was the most fun to kiss.
The actress revealed that Keanu Reeves, best known for his work in the John Wick and The Matrix franchises, was the most fun co-star to kiss her. The two featured together in 1994’s, Speed, the film responsible for boosting their career and bringing them where they are today. It would seem, however, that the reason for the on-screen kiss being most fun for Bullock might have a lot more to do with their chemistry rather than Reeves himself.
Sandra Bullock Had a Crush On Keanu Reeves While Filming Speed
Years after their movie, Speed, Sandra Bullock has gone on to reveal that she had a crush on Keanu Reeves during the filming of the movie, going as far as to call him her first celebrity crush. The actress added that this attraction had a lot to do with how kind the actor was, something he has a reputation for, as well as how handsome he is. She also added that this crush made it really difficult for her to be serious around him
“I think about how sweet Keanu Reeves was and how handsome he was,” Bullock shared about working on Speed. “It was hard. It was really hard for me to really be serious. He’d look at me and I’d [giggle].” She continued, explaining why they never dated, “There was just something about me that I guess he didn’t like. I think it’s true … I think we’re probably friends for that long because we didn’t…”
She then went on to say that maybe, he did not reciprocate these feelings due to something he did not like about her, adding that perhaps it is better that nothing happened between the two romantically, as their friendship means a lot to her. Reeves ultimately spoke on this and revealed that his feelings for Bullock were quite the opposite.
“She obviously didn’t know I had a crush on her, either,” Reeves responded. He also explained why they didn’t date “We were working!”, admitting, “It was nice to go to work. She’s such a wonderful person, such a wonderful actress.”
The John Wick actor revealed that he, in reality, had a crush on Bullock as well at the same time as her. He added that she clearly did not know this. He then went on to explain that the two did not date as they were working together. He then went on to talk about how good of a person Bullock is and how fun it was for him to go to work with her.
