Pierce Brosnan making his debut in the superhero world was not something had expected. Yet as fate would have it, the actor soon became probably the best part of Dwayne Johnson’s failed superhero venture, Black Adam. Starring as Dr. Fate aka Kent Nelson, Brosnan did an impeccable job and fans have been wanting to see more of him despite his grand sacrifice in the film.
While James Gunn and Peter Safran bringing one of DC’s oldest comic characters back to the screen seems like a distant dream, Brosnan can make his return to the world of superheroes elsewhere. And if his recent appearance is to be taken into consideration, Brosnan would look incredible as MCU’s Magneto.
Pierce Brosnan Would Be Perfect For MCU’s Magneto
Pierce Brosnan is an incredible actor with some extraordinary talents. After portraying what fans hail as one of the best portrayals of James Bond, the actor has gone on to star in several incredible movies. Yet it is his recent portrayal of Dr. Fate in Black Adam that fans have been swooning over lately.
Not only did the actor become the best part of the superhero flick, but it was his charisma, gravitas, and commanding presence that made the role almost magnetic. Yet, just his co-stars, the actor’s run in DC seems to be over, since James Gunn has only just begun and it would be a long while before a character like Dr. Fate is brought back on screen.
And if looks and talents are to be taken into consideration, Brosnan is a little too perfect for playing MCU’s version of Magneto. Starring in the romantic flick, Four Letters of Love, based on Niall Willaims’ best-selling novel of the same name, Brosnan’s look from the film went viral last year.
Although the movie is yet to be released, the actor was spotted with a gray wig in a long overcoat with a scarf around his neck, last year on sets of the film (see Fox News). And it doesn’t a second glance to see that the actor looks more like a live-action version of Magneto from Age of Apocalypse or X-Men ’97.
While Ian McKellan did an impeccable job at portraying the older Magneto in Fox’s X-Men movies, Brosnan can be the perfect actor to lead the role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, now that Disney has acquired Fox.
Even Fans Want Pierce Brosnan To Be Magneto
With an illustrious career spanning decades and roles that show his brilliance, Pierce Brosnan is the first choice of several Marvel fans when it comes to being MCU’s Magneto. From his nuanced portrayals to his acting prowess and versatility, Brosnan would undoubtedly do an incredible job when it comes to a character as complex as Magneto.
And after witnessing him as Dr. Fate in DCEU, even fans are convinced that the actor is perfect to make his MCU debut.

As the MCU continues to evolve and grow, Magneto is bound to make his appearance sooner or later. And casting Pierce Brosnan as Magneto is too good of an opportunity that Marvel should not miss. With his unparalleled charisma, acting talent, and ageless vigor, the actor is bound to do an amazing job and leave an indelible mark if he is ever cast as the character.
