The last major order tasked players to eradicate 1.5 billion Automatons and Terminids from the galaxy and failing to do so has rewarded them the anti-tank mines. These can now be found in the Ship Management. Arrowhead Game Studios announced the addition of the stratagem on Discord.

Helldivers 2 community manager Miitchimus announced the arrival of the anti-tank mines saying, “The failure to eliminate the targeted number of enemies using the currently-available arsenal has made clear the need for additional weaponry.” “Therefore, High Command has ordered the immediate, large-scale production of Anti-Tank Mines,” they added.

The last major order was only completed by 64% with only two hours to go, before players ultimately failed it. The next major order is now in the game and players are asked to try out the Anti-tank mines they have received. However, players are not a fan of them and think the mines are useless.

Fans have tried very hard to not get this punishing reward but they have already landed fleetwide. But fans have found our that these mines were truly better ignored as they are useless and many players think that no one is going to use them in the matches.

The current in-game minefields were already hated by fans and these new ones seem to be no different. One player on Reddit wrote, “the Anti-Tank mines are just as worthless as we all expected,” calling it a good news for everyone.

They listed the things wrong with the mines and said they “barely” damage and need half the field to actually kill anything “Tanky.” The player also said that the mines can be set off by smaller enemies, players, and even their corpses and they also set off “massive chain explosions wasting the field.”
