Helldivers 2 is a fun game and players have enjoyed fighting for managed democracy, crushing bugs and bots. But there have been a lot of issues in the game lately, from weapons to enemies, that are frustrating the players.
There are currently many issues in the game that players have been reporting. One player has now shared a massive problem with bots, which is not an easy fix for Arrowhead but players are adamant to get it done anyway possible.
Helldivers 2 Player Shares Their Recent Bot Experience
Reddit user and Helldivers 2 player BlueZerg44 took to the game’s subreddit and shared a post, “Stun-locking massively hurts the bot experience.” They said that when they die fighting bugs, it is because of them and the reasons could be many from bad positioning to target priority.
However, they can not say the same for when they die fighting bots in Helldivers 2. The player said, “stuns are a problem with bots in general but rocket devastators are the worst offenders.” Rocket devastators shoulder-mounted rocket pods and have insane accuracy to take out players.

The player said they find them “over-tuned” with their abilities that include long range, high damage and durability and fast attack speed. They added that these are not a problem when they are in small numbers but a horde of them with shield devastators “will instantly melt you if you get knocked.”
Stun Locking Is Causes Problems for Players

They mentioned that these bots can take over the fight if they’re in large numbers. There are options to take cover and engage but airships make it irrelevant and these bots surround fully on higher difficulties. Several players seem to be facing the same issue and hope Arrowhead gives them a solution.
Helldivers 2‘s battles are as chaotic as they are exciting and the player has said that the stun-locking is a “serious issue” when players are playing on higher difficulties. It does not increase difficulty but one single mistake from the players can cause a disaster that’s mostly out of their control.
They praised the bugs for how they handle stun and “chargers and broods punish you for not paying attention.” They said these are annoying but are high priority targets. They also said that when they lose a bug match, they accept it and try to do better but losing a bot match, “leaves a sour taste.”
Arrowhead needs to take a look at the stun-locking issue before players are frustrated anymore. The game has already made a lot of mistakes and it should no plan better and do better, if it doesn’t want to lose the massive chunk of its player base.
