Unfortunately, the players are too observant for their good and notice several inconsistencies such as the gravity levels in certain Helldivers 2 planets. These observations could take away the illusion the developers designed and affect the experience.
Some fans could see through the Second Galactic War and wanted to know how it would all end or if there would be any changes in the distant future. It would make sense for the developers to spice up the experience from a gameplay perspective, however, these changes must be tied to the narrative or the in-game lore for a cohesive and linear experience.

Joel is the prime suspect for reconnecting the supply lines after the community spent hours cutting the supply lines of enemy factions.
Players are starting to sow doubt whether all their hard work is making a difference to the war effort. Missions and objectives are starting to rhyme and it is not ideal for a live service game to rely on repetitive gameplay to gain the favor of the gaming community.
It Is Time for Arrowhead Game Studios to Address Certain Questions About Helldivers 2
The gaming community is starting to lose interest in fighting for the democracy of the citizens of Super Earth against various enemy factions from beyond the stars. Some players are theorizing that the Second Galactic War is fake and everything is a simulation made by the government.
There is a possibility that the government is keeping something from the public that could be explored later in future story updates. The developers are more concerned with polishing the gameplay and mechanics to make the game more enjoyable and to encourage players to stay logged in for longer playing sessions.
Everything must come to an end, even in wars. One side will be victorious while the other may retreat and live to fight another day which could be an appealing idea for Helldivers 2. The developers could craft a new story idea that would shift the tide on the players’ side and keep going from there.
Lore is essential since it keeps the gaming community interested in the long run. Arrowhead Game Studios had a great thing going and is full of potential to branch out and explore other ideas.
