Helldivers 2 was a massive success on launch but lately it has been stuck on a rut and players are losing interest in the game. The developer, Arrowhead Game Studios, has announced a new massive update to tackle this problem.
The update will bring a lot of new content to the game but players are still not happy. There have been many complaints about several things in the game and it seems like many of those complaining do not understand the game.
Helldivers 2 Have Had Enough of the Complaints About the Game
The co-op shooter title has not been in a good shape for quite a while now. Ever since the PSN controversy, the game has seen a decline in player number and increase in complaints. From gameplay issues to Helldivers 2 bugs and glitches, players have complained about almost everything in the game.
However, the die-hard fans are not having anymore complaints from the players who seemingly don’t understand the game. Reddit user slama_llama said that they have seen multiple posts complaining about “staples” of the game and removing things like spore maps, low-vis planets, and jammers.
The player said that players calling things they don’t like as “bad game design” They added that the argument players give to removing these things from the game is “its just not fun!” The player said that those complaining should stop and think about what removing stuff could do to the game.
“Bad game design” is not the same thing as “I don’t like when this happens.”

Helldivers 2 deaths are hilarious but many do not see that as it is and it is about time they understood the game.
Players Shouldn’t Forget That Helldivers 2 Is a War Game
Helldivers 2 has amazed fans with its satirical story telling of Super Earth and its citizens and how Helldivers are fighting a war against bots and bugs to spread managed democracy. The player said that Helldivers 2 is a war game and players should not forget that.
They said the central pillar of the story is “that Helldivers are expendable meat bags who frequently die horrible deaths.” They added that there are issues in the game but players calling for intentional designs because they do not like it or it “isn’t fun” is bad and will turn the game into a “just another shooter.”
The player here is right as players should try to have fun in the game and should not confuse fun with not dying or completing objectives without any issues. Helldivers 2 has always been known and loved for its chaotic and hilarious gameplay and deaths, respectively.
This is what differentiates Helldivers 2 from other shooter titles. Players have loved the game and this is why despite problems, the game keeps going. Players need to play more and try to understand the game instead of complaining about things they don’t like.
