While the game offers a large variety of loadouts, players, especially those who are new have opted for a very specific set of weapons that help them clear through missions and enemies alike.
However, since the is still in its early stages, it seems that many weapons that could potentially be the best ones yet might have slipped from right under our noses. We are talking about the obscure AC-8 Autocannon, a weapon that is balanced overall and is available fairly quickly to someone who is just beginning the game.

While the same objective can be objectively completed with other Stratagems, the AC-8 autocannon in particular carries other benefits with itself, like quick reload times and a better ammunition bag when compared to alternatives.
To put it briefly, the autocannon is one of the best weapons in the game that seems to have slipped from the players’ sight. It is essentially an automatic railgun with greater versatility and some inaccuracy. Furthermore, it poses as the perfect alternative to be used in place of the current weapon meta, which has nearly every single player doing the same thing.
