Helldivers 2, the third-person co-op shooter from Arrowhead, has been the biggest hit of this year so far, with millions of players fighting to save Super Earth. More and more players are joining the fight against aliens and disposing of them in their unique ways to deliver democracy to the world.
One player has taken the fight to another level, where they are fighting against the evil Terminids and Automatons. The player is seen doing the dead-eye impression of the protagonist of Red Dead Redemption and the secondary protagonist of RDR2, John Marston, impressing their fellow players.
Helldivers 2 Player Recreates John Marston’s Dead Eye in the Game
A clip shared on X/Twitter shows a Helldiver fighting the Automatons and Terminids with the dead-eye impression of John Marston. The player is using two P-4 Senator double-action revolvers and taking the aliens down as they jump and fall while Big Iron plays in the background. The player is seen going around the automatons, shooting them, and then running away to reload the weapon.
For those unaware, Dead Eye is an ability of John Marston in the RDR that allows him to slow down time and take down enemies with precise shots. The Helldivers 2 player is also seen embracing the destruction they have caused with open arms and then destroying a group of enemies while they try to blast him off.

This has impressed fellow Helldivers a lot, and they have appreciated the player for this unique combat style in the name of “freedom.” A fan said that this has to be the “quickest draw in the whole wild universe,” while another fan appreciated the choice of weapon by the player, saying, “Senator is the goat.” One fan said that the Helldiver is “rad as f**k” and they “aspire to be like him.”
Helldivers 2 Keeps Taking Over the Industry
Before the John Marston impression, a player equivalent of Let Me Solo Her of Elden Ring was seen who had been answering SOS and helping the players in need. The game has been an immense success, and it continues to keep doing so with its fun co-op gameplay that players have missed for years.
The game has been topping the charts in concurrent players and sales and has topped the February 2024 sales charts, dethroning the behemoth Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and the newly released Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth. Developer Arrowhead has also been releasing regular updates to the game to provide a smooth experience for the players.
The last patch made some weapons unusable as they caused the game to crash, and the latest update has now fixed it with players being able to use Arc Thrower, Arc Shotgun, and Tesla Tower. Are you playing Helldivers 2? Let us know in the comments.
