But, recently, players have been facing issues with the weapons, as they have been nerfed or have problems due to bugs and glitches. There is one such weapon that is quite popular but is not used due to issues and needs a buff.
Frag Grenades in Helldivers 2 Need a Buff Now
Helldivers 2 players have had a good time in the game, but they have also come across a lot of problems in the last few months. Players have been complaining that weapons and even mechs are not worthwhile and Arrowhead needs to bring a balance update soon.
One player has now shared the problems with the frag grenades. When a Reddit user asked for unpopular opinions about Helldivers 2 on the game’s subreddit, one player said that they enjoy using frag grenades, but they desperately need a buff.
They added that they’ve only come across one other player using the grenades in 300 hours. The player also mentioned that Arrowhead seems to have “totally forgotten” about them too, as there has been no mention of frag grenades in patch notes.

Several players agreed with the user and said that not only the frag grenade, but all grenades “should be reworked.” Some players were not even aware that the game has frag grenades. This shows that developers need to pay attention to it and fix it before it is completely forgotten in the game.
There Are a Number of Things Players Want Either Fixed or Changed
The Reddit post has gotten over 5k upvotes and a large number of players have shared “unpopular opinions” on the game. There are several things that players want Arrowhead to fix in the game or completely change it for a better experience.
One player said that they would like to “hear and feel” the chargers whenever they are coming up on them.

Another player added, “Sneaky chargers bonking you on the head from behind should not exist.” Getting hit by a charger can be pretty bad, so players are right to ask for this.
Another user said that the bots in the game have flaws but they are “balanced considerably better than bugs.” One player added that Desert planets are more fun to play because of the terrain and Hellmire will again be a “top tier planet.”
