Helldivers 2, despite seemingly losing traction, especially when one compares its player base from a couple of months ago to now, is still going strong. However, complaints from fans do not seem to stop.
Arrowhead’s being receptive to feedback from fans has led fans to add many things to their wishlists for the game. However, the developer should consider adding this bizarre stratagem to the game.

Despite declining for various reasons, the player base for Helldivers 2 game seems to have separated loyal fans from disloyal ones. For example, a fan recently wrote an elaborate post on Reddit praising the game’s makers, and it seemed to resonate with many divers.
In the co-op title, explosions are incredibly satisfying, especially when the things going boom are your enemies. In a rare sight, however, a player captured a moment from the game, which was a spectacle. In the clip, readers can see a Charger, one of the terminals in the game, quite literally, charging onto an enemy:
Players loved the post, as seen by the upvotes and comments. Moreover, just like how players continually indulge in the game’s narrative in and out of the game, fellow members of the game’s community also played along with the post’s premise:
The post also led to players appreciating the game’s ragdoll physics. For example, one person wrote that:
The post and comments proved that the game’s community doesn’t need a lot to appreciate the game. A stable game with consistent quality content is perhaps enough for the community, and all that shouldn’t be above Arrowhead’s pay grade, given its track record.

Nostalgia is widespread among gamers. However, that doesn’t mean that everything good about a game doesn’t call for credit to be given to the game team.
Similarly, when Helldivers 2 came out, it did many things right. It proved to people that getting the basics right and not putting in predatory microtransactions was so uncommon in the industry that fans deemed it good enough.
However, it has been a different story recently, as fans have recently left the game in enormous numbers because it is currently a buggy mess. This could be because Arrowhead either bit off more than it could chew or took steps that eventually backfired.
Helldivers 2 has a lot of life in it, but it would still require work to get back to where it was. What do you think the game needs to fix to bounce back? Let us know your opinion in the comments below!
