However, the latest major order was by far the best one of the lot, and fans are happy that Arrowhead is still dedicated to the game and isn’t forgetting it. The latest major order featured Dark Fluid, and fans now want the developer to bring one item back to its Dark Fluid variant.

The latest Major Order called Operation “Enduring Peace” arrived on May 30, and players had to complete it by destroying planet Meridia completely and eradicating the Terminid supercolony from the planet using weaponized Dark Fluid. The players were quick to complete the mission, as they soon collapsed the planet into a newly formed black hole.

The Dark fluid in the mission acted as a jetpack while players carried it to the drill site. There is already a Jetpack in the game, but this was an upgrade over the regular one, and players now want it back as it was quite useful in comparison to the regular Jetpack. One player took to the Helldivers subreddit and said that the developer should upgrade the standard Jetpack to the Dark Fluid variant.

AH, please add an upgrade for the standard jet pack to turn it into the dark fluid one!

They added that they were able to damage the bugs surrounding them with the Dark Fluid variant, calling it “satisfying.” The player said that they started using it as an offensive move, and it also had a shorter cool-down than the standard Jetpack. They added that the developer could bring a purchasable ship upgrade that could be available to be added to the normal Jetpack.

Fans Want the Dark Fluid Jetpack Even if It’s in Rotational Missions

Another said, “I’m sad it’s gone now, but this clearly shows how much fun a jet pack would be.” User WOLKsite said the Dark Fluid Jetpack could be explored if overused, so they would not replace it with the existing one.

One fan said that it would also be fine if the Jetpack was available in one mission type in rotation, as it could be a little “OP” as a stratagem. Some players did say that the regular Jetpack in Helldivers 2 is fine. User DavideoGamer55 mentioned that having the Dark Fluid Jetpack would not work with the in-game universe.

They added that the mission report on Meridia said that the effort to destroy the planet used up all the Dark Fluid resources, and there is no chance of getting the Jetpack back if players don’t get more Dark Fluid.
