With the excitement that Arrowhead had for the latest Helldivers 2 patch, there must have been something deeper going than what appears on surface level. While plenty of members in the community weren’t impressed by what the developer brought with its highly anticipated update, it seems like they were too quick to judge it.
This isn’t the first time that the Helldivers 2 community as a whole has witnessed some peculiar sightings in the game, but none of them have been this random, raising questions regarding what they could mean and what Arrowhead could potentially be building towards.
The Latest Helldivers 2 Sightings Are Definitely Raising Some Questions
Shortly after the Helldivers 2 player base had to make a tough decision regarding the new Major Order sent from High Command, players have been reporting sightings of something extremely unexpected and surprising in the game.
It seems Arrowhead Game Studios is channeling its inner Riddler from the DC universe, as the developer has thrown in huge random question marks in its third-person shooter video game, making players wonder about what exactly is going on.
Considering the game-breaking bugs that accompanied the latest patch, the initial thought that players had regarding the massive interrogation marks was that it was also probably a glitch.
However, there seems to be more going on than meets the eye, as players have reported that all of their squad members witnessed the colossal question mark right in the middle of a rescue mission.

Although it does not seem to be yet another bug, the weird thing is that nothing really happens when players try to interact with the interrogation marks, raising even more curiosity around their existence that has seemingly come out of nowhere.

Since interacting with the gigantic question marks is not providing a concrete answer regarding what their actual purpose is, some players are speculating where they fit in the Helldivers 2 lore.

Believing that these randomly-appearing interrogation marks are a new kind of virus introduced by Arrowhead Game Studios to spice things up, a player thinks that Super Earth’s soldiers are getting infected by it.
If this turns out to be true and there really is a viral infection being thrown into the Helldivers 2 mayhem, it holds the potential of spicing things up in a period where the game seems to be struggling to maintain its longevity.
Another interesting thing about these question marks is that they are not only limited to appearing in large open areas but are showing up in enclosed environments as well, although the sizes between the two drastically vary.
Only time and Arrowhead will tell what Helldivers 2 has in store for its players in the near future, which could possibly introduce a fresh element in the title and make things even tougher for the community.
